BrandAxis API

Read your BrandAxis data from your own tools — prompts, AI answers, brand visibility and sources over a read-only REST API. Included on Starter and above.

The BrandAxis API gives you read-only access to your workspaces’ data: prompts, AI answers, brand visibility and the sources answers cite. Every figure is the one the dashboard shows, so you can pipe it into a warehouse, a client dashboard or your own scripts.

Who can use it

The API is included on the Starter, Pro, Advanced and Enterprise plans and on pay-as-you-go trackers. It isn’t available on Free or Lite.

Get a key

  1. In BrandAxis, open Settings → API and make a key.
  2. Send it with every request: Authorization: Bearer <YOUR_API_KEY>.

Anyone in the account can make one key. A key reads the workspaces its maker can see. Owners and admins can see and revoke every key in the account; everyone else can see and revoke only their own. A revoked key stops working at once.

What you can read

  • Workspaces, prompts, brands, topics and tags: the setup behind each workspace.
  • AI answers: every answer collected, with its text, the brands it names and the pages it cites.
  • Brand report: visibility, rank, sentiment and wins per brand, broken down by model, prompt, topic, tag, country, day, week or month, with previous-period comparison.
  • Source reports: the sites and pages answers cite, the types of source, and whether they name your brand.
  • Cited page content: the text of a cited page, as it was when cited.

Every workspace, brand, answer and source in a response carries an app_url that opens the same view in BrandAxis.

Good to know

  • Read-only. Prompts, brands and workspaces are managed in the dashboard. Nothing can be created, changed or started through the API.
  • Rate limit. Each key has its own per-minute limit, set by your plan and starting at 60 requests a minute. Every response shows your limit and what’s left.
  • Dates. Days are YYYY-MM-DD in the workspace’s timezone. Without a range you get the last 7 days, and a range can span up to 366 days.
