Connecting your brand

How BrandAxis detects your brand name, common aliases, and domain — and how to fix detection if results look off.

When you create a workspace, BrandAxis registers your brand name and domain. We use both to detect mentions of your brand in AI-generated answers.

Brand detection

We match three signals in every AI response:

  • Exact brand name — “BrandAxis”
  • Brand aliases — e.g. “Brand Axis” (with a space), common abbreviations
  • Your domain — brandaxis.ai mentioned as a source

A mention counts when any of these appears in the answer text or in the cited sources.

If detection looks off

If you’re seeing low scores even though you know AI models mention you, the most common cause is missing aliases. See Aliases & brand grouping for how to add them.
