Why we started this.
Felix has spent the last decade chasing the addictive high of ranking a website on Google. SEO has been his thing since before "GEO", "AEO", "LLMO", or "WTFO?" was a major buzzword.
Then in 2024, on a routine client kickoff call, he asked the question every agency owner asks: "Where did you hear about us?"
It wasn't Google. It wasn't a network referral, Meta ad, or a LinkedIn post.
"Oh, ChatGPT recommended you."
A brand-new acquisition channel had just emerged and almost nobody was paying attention to it yet.
Learning to read the Matrix.
Felix spent the next 18 months treating GEO like SEO circa 2009 — head down, running experiments, measuring what stuck. It was like the wild wild web again. Completely uncharted territory. Three patterns kept surfacing across every model:
—A clean SEO base. Entity recognition, schema, a consistent brand narrative the models could actually parse.
—An online reputation worth repeating. AI models echo what the internet already says about you, over and over, in lots of places.
—Being in the sources. If the model cites a page, you'd better be on it.
The strategy was clear. The measurement was a nightmare. Asking five AI models the same fifty questions every day and reverse-engineering their citations is not what you want to be doing at 1am on a Tuesday before a client pitch.
The Ahrefs-shaped opening.
Around the same time, a LinkedIn rant made the rounds — basically: why is Ahrefs charging so much for Brand Radar, and practically begging for a scrappy upstart to steal their lunch?
The first AI visibility trackers had just launched, and… they were charging Ahrefs prices on day one. Felix read the rant, agreed someone should do it, and then had the crazy thought: wait — could that be us?
Dinner with Freddie.
Freddie is one of those friends from university who lives for challenge. The harder the problem, the more he wants to crack it. Investment management. Twitch at global scale. Fintech infrastructure where the money is real.
He and Felix have a standing dinner.
Felix:"Help me understand what I'm missing. Tracking prompts across LLMs shouldn't be this hard or expensive, right?"
Freddie:"It's not. I could build that in like a month."
He was right.
The hard part wasn't building a tracker.
The hard part was building one that marketers could use effortlessly to understand their brand in AI and give them the right tools to improve it.
Freddie built the platform. Scraper from scratch. With a couple of Mac minis turned into agents and Gemini under his command. He created the robust, scalable architecture that would set up the project for success, with Felix providing direction and QA.
He practically built what took competitors with multiple team members and millions in funding, solo.
Eight months later, here we are.

Felix studied Computer Science and Game Design, giving him a rare combination of technical fluency and product/design intuition. At BrandAxis he leads product, marketing, and sales.

He has built and shipped production systems across three demanding domains: Wealth Management SaaS, where correctness and compliance are non-negotiable; Twitch.tv, where he served as a Senior Developer working on systems operating at massive global scale; and Fintech Payments, where he was a founder building real-money infrastructure end-to-end. At BrandAxis he leads engineering, architecture, and the core platform build.
